They range from “Oh my God, this is so much work!" to “I have done the fixes but some areas are not flowing properly and then when I checked, I realized I had not placed things where you had asked me to place them." Also: “I was so excited, I told my friend what to place in her kitchen too but the results were not the same - Oh was I wrong? Oh No? Why?" And recently: “You told me windows in a particular direction brought in positive energy and so I presumed the headboard of my bed should also be placed in the same direction.” That was wrong too.
The first thing I tell my clients or my students who are getting Vaastu done is “Don’t ever hesitate to ask questions. It gives me an insight on what to address on a general basis and also prevents you from making mistakes.”
Vaastu if done properly gives results, without fail. It neutralizes negative effects in your horoscope and it helps maximize balance in your life.
But while there are some general guidelines and principles in Vaastu, some of which I have discussed in my introductory workshops (which will be resumed shortly), each home and individual is uniquely different. And there are very clear and specific rules for every area of your life, your home and office.
The house replicates your body and your inner and outer world. Will you take the same medicine for different ailments? No you will not. Does everyone in your house have the same ailment? No they do not. Similarly there are different fixes for different things.
Your windows may have to be opened in a certain direction but your bed may have to be placed in a different direction.
A zone in your house or office when balanced may bring wisdom and clarity, but a bedroom or a bathroom in that zone is a total no-no. It brings mental and neurological troubles and even cancer.
Every zone in your house or office space has a very specific purpose and if you do not follow rules and try to make your own, then sometimes the repercussions are tough.
All my clients are learning to use the compass and unlike most Vaastu consultants who will hand you a report and be done with it, I am holding your hand and walking you through each change. It is because you must learn on the job, so when you take the workshops those of you who have got their Vaastu done will be getting a head start.
The Vaastu shastris of the ancient times were trained for years in so many different fields from architecture, to sculpture, to physics, sacred geometry, mantra power, math, astronomy, astrology, clairvoyance etc. so that they became a one stop shop for their clients. They were severely punished if they messed up. It’s equal to giving the wrong medicine to a patient.
Each home or work space is different with different vibration and energy, each village, town, city, state and country for that matter are uniquely different. Every space has own unique blockages and its advantages. Nothing is 100 percent Vaastu compliant now in today’s world. Fortunately our ancient masters gave a fix for practically everything. There are certain things that were not fixable in ancient times and I am trying to experiment with fixing those when I get certain messages as the first attempt to see the results. Many have worked and a few times they haven’t.
I have yet to meet a client who has said “I didn’t see any difference”. So Vaastu works and it is good to have a Vaastu compliant living space and working space.
You should get both your home and office fixed as they are both interlinked with you and each other because of you. You don’t clean your arms and leave your legs when in the shower do you? But yes you can prioritize what needs your immediate care first.
Vaastu is easy if you have the knowledge that comes with a lot of training. But if you don’t know the rules, then it is best to follow instructions to reap the maximum benefits.
