This question has been asked for different reasons, but it is a valid and important question.
Let us first see the areas of our life that Vaastu impacts. As most of you who have been reading my posts and comments on my internal email group, Vaastu, astrology, astronomy, mathematics, geometry, physics, Ayurveda and yoga are interlinked.
Astrology covers 40 percent of your life. Your chart being a road map of how the movement placement of certain planets and constellations in your chart affect your life based on your past karma.
Thirty five percent is Vaastu - fixing your space and balancing it after looking at the horoscope can help you neutralize the negative effects of your chart and also help in enhancing the positive influence of strongly placed planets because your home and office has different areas affected by the same planets.
Twenty five percent is your action. How you act, and react to situations in your life and what kind of work you do to enhance your life and build good karma.
A good Vaastu consultant has to be a very good astrologer, with a decent knowledge of Ayurveda, Yoga, math, physics and geometry and much more. And to find a Vaastu consultant who knows all this is hard. In the ancient times Vaastu shastris as the consultants were known underwent extensive training in many different subjects –math, astronomy, even architecture along with, geometry, physics, clairvoyance, Ayurveda and yoga to name a few.
Bad Vaastu causes problems in so many different areas in your life. To name a few- finances, family, education, profession, support and nurturing, career opportunities, clarity of mind, fame and recognition for your work, social networking, wastage of money, anxiety, power and confidence, many mental and physical health issues, blocked creativity, relationships with your partner and with family, friends and colleagues, education and well-being of children, addictions, phobias, depression- really the list is endless.
And when you have Vaastu non-compliant homes, and work places, you can see those blockages when you look at your life.
Does it not make sense to get the Vaastu done as soon as possible? Mainly because the Vaastu of your current home and office may be actually blocking you from moving forward and even stopping you from moving into that new home or office that you want to move into. It may be affecting your health and well being, finances and whatever else you may be having issues with.
Do you decide to delay a cancer treatment because you are waiting for a new state of the art hospital to open? Do you say let me find the right job and I will only start working then? I hope not.
One of the things that deeply touched me was done by three of my Vaastu clients. All three of them knew they were moving to new homes between 3-6 months. They still insisted I do the Vaastu of their homes. Why? So that the future owners do not have to face the problems they did in that house. That showed great generosity of heart and I am very sure it brought them abundant good karma.
This question sometimes comes because I am very strict about removing the clutter from people’s homes before we start doing the Vaastu. They get overwhelmed when they realize how much stuff they have accumulated. And trust me I am one of those hoarders also and have been going crazy trying to get rid of stuff and am still only 60 percent done. But because I understand I have been very patient and given people plenty of time to get the decluttering done.
If you jump the gun, and start Vaastu fixes when the energy is still blocked in certain parts of the house then the results will not be as effective or visible.
The other reason is people have poverty consciousness. They start looking at the cost and yes every professional will charge for their time. But when you divide the cost by the months and years of your life it is far less than the money you spend on eating out drinking liquor, buying clothes that you may wear only a few times.
Plus many consultants if they have a trustworthy relationship with you will have an installment plan to help out. The law of karma says that if you underpay the results will be not as effective. When you receive you must give, and there must be an even exchange of energy. And it is a long, tedious, complicated undertaking.
For those who are underprivileged, help must be provided but they still have to give back something. We have so many generous people in our group. We have fund raised successfully to help so many take workshops and more.
If you believe that your space affects your well being then the answer to the question is a no brainer... and if you are overthinking and over analyzing then the area that impacts clarity to what is good for you is certainly blocked.
And you have to work with a properly trained Vaastu consultant. Or it will be a waste of time and money. And the answer to the question? Get it done as soon as you can.
